IMPHAL, Feb. 2 -- Kuki Chiefs' Association, Tengnoupal (KCA-T) and All Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM) have opposed the Centre's decision to scrap the Free Movement Regime (FMR) between India and Myanmar.

Both the organisations in strife-torn Northeast state of Manipur have also opposed the proposal to fence the India-Myanmar border.

"In the face of vehement public opposition, the implementation of the border fencing has not only raised significant apprehensions but has also elicited deep concern within the Kuki community," KCA-T said in a statement.
