India, Dec. 27 -- The Kamrup Metropolitan district administration on Saturday released the draft electoral roll as part of the Special Revision exercise and opened the window for filing claims and objections from December 27 to January 22, officials said.

Addressing the media at the conference hall of the Kamrup Metropolitan Deputy Commissioner's office, DC Sumit Sattawan, IAS, announced that the administration will organise special camps on January 3, 4, 10 and 11 to help voters submit their claims and objections with ease.

"We have published the draft roll today for special revision. Citizens can file claims and objections till January 22. During this period, special camps will be held on January 3, 4, 10 and 11," Sattawan said.
