India, Dec. 25 -- A 10-member Indian Coast Guard delegation is undertaking a six-day visit to the Assam Rifles formation at Tripura's Kunjaban Garrison from December 22 to 27 to boost institutional ties and operational coordination between the two forces.
The engagement is part of the Charter of Affiliation, which seeks to deepen cooperation through regular interaction and the sharing of professional experiences.
The delegation held meetings with senior officers of 21 Sector Assam Rifles, including the Deputy Inspector General, where discussions covered shared security concerns, emerging regional challenges, and opportunities for closer collaboration in the future.
