Guwahati, May 17 -- Following the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, India launched a coordinated military operation, named Operation Sindoor, targeting terror infrastructure across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation combined precise missile strikes with strategic deception.
According to a report by ANI citing defense sources, the Indian Air Force (IAF) used unmanned decoy aircraft that resembled fighter jets to mislead Pakistan's air defense systems, which are equipped with Chinese-made HQ-9 surface-to-air missiles.
