India, Nov. 7 -- To ensure a fair and transparent examination process, the Guwahati Police have imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 ahead of the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) Combined Competitive (Main) Examination 2022, scheduled for November 7, 8, and 9.

The examination is being conducted simultaneously at the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) office in Guwahati and the Imphal Centre in Manipur, with 199 candidates slated to appear from Guwahati.
