Election in Tripura East held peacefully, 80.32 % voter turnout recorded
Agartala, April 27 -- Tripura East Lok Sabha constituency witnessed a record 80.32% voter turnout, marked by peace.
Under vigilant security, polling began at 7 AM and concluded with commendable participation.
CEO of Tripura, Puneet Agarwal, announced in a press conference that by 8 PM, the turnout had reached the impressive 80.32%.
He lauded the peaceful conduct of the election, noting minimal complaints which were promptly addressed.
The Tripura West Parliamentary poll also proceeded smoothly.
With 1664 polling stations in the Tripura East constituency, the electoral process commenced in March.
