GUWAHATI, March 5 -- Former Meghalaya governor Ranjit Shekhar Mooshahary lauded Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma as the epitome of civility among chief ministers in the country.

Speaking at a function organized by the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) to pay tribute to the late PA Sangma, former Lok Sabha speaker from Meghalaya, Mooshahary hailed PA Sangma as the iconic face of the Northeast, a legendary statesman, and a principled individual dedicated to his duties.
