GUWAHATI, Feb. 5 -- The Congress party has criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for choosing to visit Assam instead of neighbouring Manipur.

Senior Congress leader Pawan Khera took a dig at PM Narendra Modi for ignoring the violence-hit Northeast state of Manipur.

Slamming PM Modi, Pawan Khera shared a screenshot of flights that were available on Monday (February 5) from Guwahati to Imphal in Manipur.

"Dear PMO India. If Himanta (Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma) can book a chopper for you then it is fine, otherwise here is the list of flights between Guwahati and Imphal tomorrow (February 05). Please let us know if we need to make the booking," Pawan Khera stated on social media platform X.
