Sri Lanka, Dec. 24 -- Nagaland Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Tuesday said Christmas reminds us of the enduring values of love, compassion, humility, forgiveness and service to humanity, the values that have long guided the people of the state in fostering harmony, resilience and mutual respect.
In his Christmas and New Year message to the people of the state, Bhalla said that Christmas, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, holds special significance in Nagaland.
"On the joyous occasion of Christmas and as we welcome the New Year, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Nagaland," the message read.
