India, Jan. 11 -- Manipur Speaker Thokchom Satyabrata on Sunday stated that the Centre is likely to allow the formation of a popular government in the state, which is under President's Rule, with the state assembly under suspended animation since February 13, 2025.

Th. Satyabrata, the BJP MLA elected from the prestigious Yaiskuk Assembly constituency, was speaking to the media at a function in Imphal East district.

He expressed hope that the central leadership would allow the reinstallation of a BJP-led government in the state by February 13, 2026.
