Guwahati, April 29 -- Bajaj is finally ready to launch the much-awaited Pulsar NS400 on May 3making it the most budget-friendly 400cc category bike in the Indian market.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 comes with a 373cc engine borrowed from the Dominar 400.

It is expected to be priced below the Rs 2 lakh mark, significantly cheaper than other 400cc offerings but the engine itself is likely to retain the Dominar's 40hp and 35Nm output with minimal tweaks.

The NS400 will utilize a modified steel perimeter chassis from theNS200but with expected weight reduction compared to the 193kg Dominar.

This translates to potentially sharper handling. The motorcycle also boasts upside-down forks, enhancing the overall ride experience.
