India, Feb. 18 -- Assam's homegrown AI initiative, Aakhor AI, is representing the state at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, being held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 16 to 20. Developed by Borno Labs Private Limited, Aakhor AI is the world's first speech-to-text application for the Assamese language.
The summit was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 16 and features participation from leading AI organizations across India and about ten other countries. Over 300 pavilions showcase innovations from global startups, companies, and government departments.
