India, Nov. 18 -- The General Administration Department (GAD) of Assam on Monday released the official holiday list for the year 2026.

The holiday list includes a comprehensive range of public holidays, festivals, and observances, during which government offices and all Revenue and Magisterial Courts in the state will remain closed.

According to the notification, a total of 35 full holidays have been listed for the year.

Assam Holiday List 2026:

January 14 - Magh Bihu & Tusu Puja (Wednesday)

January 26 - Republic Day (Monday)
