Guwahati, Sept. 1 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma claimed that a network of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants smuggling is being dismantled, revealing a concerning new development of the involvement of local Hindu youths.

Speaking to media in Assam's Silchar on Sunday, the Chief Minister stated that a syndicate is actively engaged in helping people illegally cross the border, charging each individual approximately rupees 20,000.
