INDIA, Dec. 2 -- Tezpur University in Assam has announced to reschedule its end-term examinations as a growing student movement against alleged corruption and administrative misconduct continues to paralyse campus operations.

This is the first time in the institution's history that academic schedules-particularly end-term exams-have been formally altered due to a student-led protest targeting the university's top administration.

The agitation, which began in September, has escalated sharply over the past week, leading to a near-complete shutdown of both academic and administrative activities.
