India, Nov. 5 -- Raijor Dal chief and Assam's Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi on Tuesday said that significant progress has been made in transforming Borpukhuri Path, the city's vibrant lifeline, into a fully beautified corridor.
MLA Gogoi remarked, "This is more than a pathway, it is Sivasagar's heart. By March, it will be fully transformed."
Gogoi inspected the site and directed officials to complete the project by March next year.
The four-kilometer stretch, funded under the Central Government's 'Ten Cities' initiative and a state allocation of nearly Rs 25 crore, is undergoing comprehensive reconstruction.
