India, Feb. 19 -- During the first day of her two-day visit to Assam on Thursday, Congress Screening Committee Chairperson and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra presented a 20-point "charge sheet" criticizing the BJP-led state government, accusing it of corruption and misusing administrative power to intimidate minority communities ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

The document listed several unfulfilled commitments by the government, including the failure to grant Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to six indigenous communities and to raise the daily wage of tea garden workers to Rs 351.
