India, Nov. 17 -- The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is set to complete the redevelopment of Kamakhyaguri Railway Station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS), officials announced on Monday.
The station has undergone major upgrades, including a new station building featuring an improved entrance lobby and circulating area.
Workers have renovated the platforms with Kota-stone surfacing, installed modern signage, and constructed a new 12-meter-wide foot overbridge with lift facilities.
They have also upgraded passenger amenities, including waiting halls, toilet blocks, parking spaces, and multi-theme lighting.
