Monrovia, Jan. 6 -- Dr Gayatri Gogoi Professor of Assam Medical College Hospital and Adjuct Scientist of ICMR, honoured with Dr Badan Ch kro Memorial Award for Dedicated Humanitarian Service during the programme of Golden Jubilee Celebration of Sadou Asom Mahila Somaroh at Koliabor on Monday.

Dr Badan Ch Kro was an alumnus of 1963 batch AMCH, hailed from Karbi Anglong and retired as Director of Assam Health Services.

Dr Gayatri doesn't need any introduction, known for her extra ordinary zeal to serve helpless and downtrodden section of society and her association with Pratishruti cancer and Palliative Trust for people of Assam.
