India, Nov. 14 -- Fresh cases of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been confirmed in Assam's Dibrugarh district, prompting the district administration to impose strict containment measures to prevent further spread of the disease.
According to a report from the District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Officer, ASF has been detected in Moran Revenue Circle, specifically in the farm area of Atul Dihingia at Baghtoli Pathar under Khowang Development Block, and in Tingkhong Revenue Circle, at the farms of Nilakanta Gogoi in Dighalia Gaon and Mrinal Jyoti Gogoi in Nalani Kapahua Gaon, under Tingkhong Development Block.
