India, Feb. 17 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Dibrugarh District, organised a large joining programme at its district headquarters on Tuesday, marking a notable political development in Upper Assam following the resignation of Bhupen Borah from the Congress.
The event, held at the BJP's district office in Dibrugarh, saw the participation of key party leaders and office bearers, who formally welcomed a significant number of new entrants into the party fold.
