India, Jan. 14 -- Another minor student has succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Assam's Barpeta Medical College and Hospital.

The deceased was a 15-year-old Class 9 student.

Earlier, another student also died while receiving treatment at the same hospital.

The tragic incident occurred at Bhagmara in Bajali district on January 3 when a Maruti Swift vehicle collided with a tractor on a public road.

One student remains in critical condition in the ICU of a hospital in Guwahati.

The incident has raised serious concerns over underage driving, parental negligence, and weak enforcement of traffic rules.
