India, Dec. 18 -- Assam's Nagaon district administration has issued expulsion orders against 15 people officially declared foreigners by various Foreigners' Tribunals, as part of intensified action under the Immigrants (Expulsion from Assam) Act, 1950.

Official records from the Office of the District Commissioner, Nagaon, state that these individuals were declared foreigners after failing to prove their Indian citizenship before the tribunals.

The affected persons reside in villages under multiple police stations, including Raha, Kaliabor, Samaguri, and Rupahi.

The cases were initiated following a letter (No.?NGN/B/2025/1442, dated November?17, 2025) from the Senior Superintendent of Police, Nagaon.
