Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections: Militants threaten voters to support NPP candidate
DIBRUGARH, April 16 -- With just a few days left for assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh, alarming reports have surfaced from the Northeast state, indicating involvement of NSCN-KYA in the electoral process.
In Longding Pumao assembly constituency, situated in the insurgency-prone Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh, voters are reportedly being coerced to support a specific candidate, under alleged threat by the militant group.
Leaflets conveying these alleged threats are being circulated within villages under Longding Pumao assembly constituency in Arunachal Pradesh.
