India, Nov. 11 -- The Special Judge (POCSO) Court in Arunachal Pradesh's Pasighat has sentenced Bomdo Tali to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for the sexual assault of a minor girl.
The case originated from an FIR lodged by the victim, identified as Miss A, on November 27, 2023, alleging that the accused, Bomdo Tali, had raped her.
A case was promptly registered at the Women Police Station, Pasighat, under Sections 342, 354B, and 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) read with Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
