India, Jan. 11 -- The Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Election, 2025, saw a sweeping victory for the Nationalist Congress Party (A) [NCP(A)] in the 14/1 Bordumsa Zilla Parishad constituency, as the party overwhelmingly defeated its rivals across Gram Panchayats in the Bordumsa block of Changlang district in eastern Arunachal Pradesh.

The results of the Gram Panchayat (GP) Chairperson elections were formally declared on Friday at the Panchayat Hall, ADC's Office, Bordumsa.

Out of the 23 Gram Panchayats under Bordumsa Block, NCP(A) secured a commanding majority, reaffirming its strong grassroots presence.

The BJP managed to win only three GP Chairperson posts, while one seat went to an Independent candidate.
