India, Dec. 23 -- Jawaharlal Nehru College (JNC), Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh, on Monday organised a one-day outreach workshop on child rights and safety measures at Government Upper Primary School, Jarku.

The programme was conducted by the Department of Political Science and sponsored by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of JNC to create awareness among students, parents and teachers about child protection and safety.

Arunachal Pradesh University Controller of Examinations Dr Monshi Tayeng attended as chief guest, while JNC Vice Principal Dr Leki Sitang was the guest of honour.
