India, Nov. 7 -- A fire broke out in seven rooms of the boys' hostel at Indira Gandhi College in Tezu in Arunachal's Lohit district, during the early hours of November 7, displacing several students but fortunately causing no casualties.
The fire, which started around 3:00 am at the hostel located opposite Dangariya Baba Mandir, was quickly brought under control by firefighters, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the building.
The prompt response of the fire brigade was crucial in avoiding any loss of life.
Authorities are yet to determine the exact cause of the fire, and investigations are underway.
