TAIPEI, Nov. 3 -- Flight Safety Foundation's 72nd annual International Air Safety Summit, featuring aviation experts from around the world discussing current and emerging safety issues, trends and mitigations, gets under way Monday at the Mandarin Oriental, Taipei.

More than 300 delegates are registered to attend the three-day event, which will include opening session remarks from Dr. Chia-Lung Lin, Taiwan's minister of Transportation and Communications, Dr. Temel Kotil, president and CEO of Turkish Aerospace, and Chow Kok Wah, assistant honorary secretary of the Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore).
