SAN RAMON, Nov. 10 -- As recent forest fires have blazed over California, both Chevron and Phillips 66 have pledged donations to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts for the California wildfires.

The Chevron Global Community Fund is contributing $100,000, Chevron said in a press release. The company will also match qualifying donations to wildfire relief efforts made by employees and retirees.

Last month, the California Fire Foundation announced a four-year, $2 million partnership with Chevron to continue underwriting the foundation's direct victim assistance program, Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency (SAVE).
