Congo, July 14 -- Overcrowded shelters, food shortages, and strained health services are rapidly worsening the humanitarian crisis in in Bambo, a town in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)'s North Kivu province, where thousands of people are sheltering after fleeing violent conflict.
Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is providing essential care to around 3,700 people each week-an increase of more than 40 percent since before current wave of mass displacement began. Local needs now far exceed current capacity.
