HOWRAH, Jan. 21 -- Political killings in West Bengal are not taking the name of freeze. The latest incident is from Howrah district. A Trinamool leader was shot dead in Baganan here. After the incident, sensation spread throughout the region.
Police is investigating the matter by sending the body for postmortem. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Sheikh Asadul Rahman (55), former president of Trinamool in Bainan, Bagnan assembly center.
Bicycle came out of the house
At around five o'clock on Tuesday morning, the locals noticed that Rahman was lying in a bloodied condition on the roadside. He was shot. Police was immediately informed. The police took him to the hospital.
