RANCHI, Oct. 23 -- Six months have passed since the Lok Sabha elections were held. MPs also started their work. But so far no village has been announced to adopt the village under the Adarsh Gram Yojana.
Under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, MPs have to adopt a panchayat in their area and develop villages. Jharkhand has 14 Lok Sabha seats. But even after six months of becoming an MP, he has not even selected the villages for the ideal village in his area.
The MP Adarsh Gram Yojana was started in 2014 by the Central Government. MPs adopted the panchayat and got it developed. However, in Jharkhand, development in adopted panchayats and villages was seen at some places only.
