MUMBAI, Oct. 29 -- Sensex opened more than 100 points in early trade on Tuesday, with shares of Tata Motors, Reliance Industries and TCS rising sharply. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange reached 39,393.12 points at one time.

Later it was trading at 39,356.57 points with a gain of 106.37 points or 0.27 percent. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange too was trading at 11,643.90 points, up 16.75 points or 0.14 percent in early trade.

The shares of these companies rose and landed Tata Motors shares rose 13 percent in early trade. Reliance Industries was also up by one percent. Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, Vedanta, TCS and Maruti had gains of up to three per cent.
