Ranchi, June 15 -- Payment of tube wells and maintenance in Jharkhand has stopped for the last three months. Apart from changing the riser pipe of tubewell of more than 20,000 poor tubewells across the state from the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, the work was started.
In all 34 divisions, the work of the government was done before the summer. Now there is a new payment problem. Department engineer Shwetaabh Kumar says that Rs 120 crore is available from disaster management.
