KOLKATA, Jan. 21 -- The Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Police Special Task Force (STF) has arrested two members of the international smuggler gang and seized heroin worth Rs 105 crore from them.
Know that this gang has spread its net in the states of Bengal and Northeast as well. The police is investigating the matter thoroughly. According to the police, the arrested smugglers include Zubeer (40) and Maulana Fayyazuddin (49).
25.255 kg heroin recovered
Jubera hails from Dhanwaria village under Jarwal Road police station area of bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, while Maulana Fayyazuddin is said to be a resident of Sorachanchi village under Kakching police station area in Thoubal district of Manipur state.
