NEW DELHI, Oct. 23 -- The exemption for children of Kashmiri displaced in the Higher Education Institute will now be given to the Kashmiri Pandits living in the Valley. Officials of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) have given this information.
This decision was taken after the Ministry received several reports regarding giving this exemption to non-displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
What decision taken
A senior official of the ministry said that the matter has been considered and the decision has been taken after discussing it with the Home Ministry and the Jammu and Kashmir administration.
