SHRINAGAR, Jan. 15 -- After the Supreme Court objected to the ban on the Internet in Jammu and Kashmir, the service is gradually restored. Restrictions imposed after the removal of Article 370 are slowly being removed.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Tuesday evening gave permission to restore broadband internet facility in many parts of Jammu region including mobile internet service and all institutions providing essential services including hotels, travel establishments and hospitals.

This step has been taken at a time when the Supreme Court ordered the Jammu and Kashmir administration to review the restrictions imposed in the Union Territory.
