Ranchi, Jan. 30 -- At the beginning of this month, leaders of several MPs, social workers, former bureaucrats, researchers and farmers' movements had written a public letter to the Prime Minister about the continuous lack of budget in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA). By the end of December, 99 percent of the central government's 2018-19 MNREGA budget had ended.
