NEW DELHI, Jan. 27 -- A Delhi court has extended the interim bail of six officers till February 18 in the INX Media case. His interim bail period was coming to an end on 27 January.
All these officers were members of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB), which gave necessary permission to INX Media while P Chidambaram was the Finance Minister.
The CBI opposed the regular bail pleas of 6 bureaucrats in the INX Media case. The CBI had lodged a protest in its reply to Delhi's Rouge Avenue Court.
These 6 bureaucrats were part of the FIPB, which approved INX Media during P Chidambaram's tenure.
