KOLKATA, Nov. 20 -- On the one hand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced to implement the National Civil Register (NRC) in the Rajya Sabha across the country, on the other hand, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has retaliated in West Bengal. Mamta has said that it will never be implemented in Bengal.
Addressing an administrative meeting in Murshidabad district, the Chief Minister indirectly attacked the BJP. It accused the Central Government of doing politics of splitting Hindu-Muslim and other sects through NRC and Civil Amendment Bill (CAB).
