RANCHI, Nov. 16 -- Former minister Bandhu Tirkey filed nomination from Jhavimo. Jawimo Supremo Babulal Marandi was also present during the filing of nomination. Prior to this, Bandhu Tirkey has been an MLA from Mandar Assembly twice.
Bandhu Tirkey was defeated by BJP's Gagotri Kujur in the 2014 assembly elections. Bandhu Tirkey had 46595 votes and finished second. By cutting the ticket of Gangotri Kujur in the 2019 assembly elections, BJP has made Dev Kumar Paddy a candidate.
