NEW DELHI, Dec. 7 -- I am not an economist, but I think we have come close to the abyss. This idea has been expressed by Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman of Aditya Birla Group. Kumar Mangalam Birla said that the government should work beyond the company tax cut for the economy. Said that there is a need to provide solid fiscal stimulus for the economy.
Birla was speaking at a media event. In this sequence, he said that fiscal prudence is necessary in business. At present, there is a need for a fiscal policy which will help in dealing with softening.
