India, March 19 -- Ayurveda practitioner-turned-politician Pramod Sawant, who was sworn in as Goa CM on Tuesday, is known to be a dedicated RSS worker since his childhood. The 45-year-old former Goa Assembly Speaker started his political career in BJP as a youth wing leader and won from Sanquelim constituency in 2012 and 2017. He had also headed Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation.
