INDIA, Dec. 4 -- The Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday refused to provide any timeline for the release of political detainees in Jammu and Kashmir. Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy informed the Rajya Sabha that as per inputs, illegal money is being sent from across the border through hawala channels to fund stone pelting, terror activities, and attacks on security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir. Reddy added that the probe has revealed that a number of groups and activists, who belong to the Hurriyat, are behind stone-pelting incidents in the Valley.
