New Delhi, May 2 -- In a major relief initiative amid the soaring summer temperatures, Delhi MP Parvesh Sahib Singh today inaugurated a Water ATM at the Kashmiri Gate bus terminal under the Heat Action Plan 2025. The initiative aims to ensure that no citizen suffers from thirst during the extreme heatwave conditions.

As part of the plan, 3,000 drinking water kiosks (pyau) will soon be set up across the city, providing access to cold and clean drinking water for all residents and commuters.

Singh stated that the move is designed to address the urgent hydration needs of the public, especially daily wage earners, travelers, and the urban poor, during Delhi's sweltering summer months.
