New Delhi, July 13 -- The two warring factions, the GNA and the LNA, have a comprehensive social media presence through which they portray themselves as the legitimate representatives of the Libyan people.

The internationally-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) and General Khalifa Haftar's self-described Libyan National Army (LNA) militias are the two major warring factions. Based in the capital city of Tripoli, the GNA is led by Prime Minister Fayez al-Serraj and controls parts of the country's west.
