New Delhi, Jan. 15 -- Uttarakhand's forest department is ready to organize Snow Leopard tours for the visitors from February. The tour will happen in Harsil, also popularly known as Switzerland of India. Harsil is situated on the banks of the Bhagirath River and on the way to Gangotri. The tour is conducted to promote "nature-based livelihood in the Himalaya."

The official announcement has been made on their Twitter handle; they wrote "This winter let's track a snow leopard! Uttarakhand to organize snow leopard tours in Harsil in February.
