New Delhi, April 3 -- According to data released by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), Unified Payments Interface (UPI) reached an all-time high of Rs 24.77 lakh crore in March 2025, marking a 12.7 per cent increase over February's transaction value of Rs 21.96 lakh.

Compared to March last year, when the transaction value stood at Rs 19.78 lakh crore, UPI payments saw an annual growth of 25 per cent.

The number of transactions also recorded 36 per cent year-on-year increase.

The average daily UPI transaction value in March stood at Rs 79,903 crore, up by 1.9 per cent from February, while the transaction volume grew by 2.6 per cent month-on-month.Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a system that powers multiple bank acco...
