New Delhi, Oct. 11 -- Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav chaired a review meeting in Delhi with members of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), State Pollution Control Boards, and Pollution Control Committees to strengthen the implementation of environmental regulations. The meeting assessed the state-level progress on the adoption of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations, and the enforcement of various waste management rules.
